Drove the Malibu to Benton Illinois About 100 miles. Raced on Saturday. Stayed at Rend Lake on Sunday and drove home Monday. It was Me And Sheila's 1 year anniversary. Went 7.75 and 7.74 in the time runs. 1st round was against Dan Smith { they call him million dollar Dan, he won some huge race somewhere and is known as the guy to earn the single highest payout for a single day race ever!} Needless to say he beat me. Dan went .560 light and 5.96 on a 5.93 dial I ran a 7.73 on the 7.7 dial but cut a crappy .663 light {.500 is perfect} I bought back in and got Rich Thomas's son in round #2 I treed him big time and ended up winning with a double breakout 7.689 on a 7.7. Round #3 I got their track champion and he went red against my .560 light. Round #4 I got Jason Phillips. I ran 7.71 on a 7.66 dial with a 1.68 60 foot! Jason won with a 9.319 on a 9.31 dial.
