We hope to hear from Geoff so we can add his 2 cents on how things are going. You know he always has something to say about racing. Stay tuned. I was able to reach Geoff for comment this morning and here is what he said. "One lifter is acting up and not pumping properly". He has made attempts to adjust the valve but the lifter can be bottomed out. If it were to pump up while that tight it could hang a valve open causing failure and engine damage. "I found oil in the distributor". That defies logic but it costs time and impacts performance. Fortunately Big G had a spare and is making his way to the Muncie Dragway. "We (Aaron and little G) helped a guy install a transmission in a 71 Camaro last night. Check Bang Shift.com for pictures". Can you spot Geoff in the shot below?
