July 31, 2010 - Kurt got his car running with a different engine the other day and we decided to use Saturday drag racing as test and tune. We both took our Malibu's out to Gateway a little late and missed the first time run. My ET prediction for the little 350cid was 12.80-12.90. The first pass ever it went 12.96. I thought it was awesome! Kurt was a little disappointed but it is just a flattop 350. My car ran 12.18. The first round I ended up racing Kurt, This was a bonus because this way I was guaranteed only 1 buyback. I went red and the buyback was for me and Kurts car went 12.87. Round #2 I went red against Ted Lipka again But Kurt Ended up going 5 rounds and losing with a very bad light. He won $50 and we all had a good time!
